Best food? Best method? Which is better?
Hello, currently feeding my child a mixture of blue mixed organic buffalo with longevity mature blue buffalo, buffalo and evolution of blue lynx in the front. I can mix them all in an airtight container out of there to your small bowl when I feed my kittens. My mother has a serious multiple feeders, each with their own food. She is mistaken, but usually has some dog real, purina one and other things, all separated in different feeders. What is a better method? Does it matter? And for that matter, what a fantastic brand for cats? What is the best brand of food for them? They're all 7-8 years, so I've included senior officials or mature into their food supply. All dishes have filtered water and fountains, fresh grass, moist food for breakfast every other day if not every day. I mix vitamins as the missing link and what is not in the wet food. Anything else I can do for them? Thanks!
First, there is absolutely nothing wrong with mixing food. It little dry feed in my house is a mix of EVO, CA Natural and welfare. The Blue Buffalo is a trademark of fine food – so do not worry about it. I do not like feeders of gravity for a couple of reasons. One of them is to encourage overeating, and two, is the food can get stale and exposed to things like ants. What little dry food, is carefully measured and put on a plate, so its use can be carefully monitored. You're doing very well with what we're doing, but I would suggest increasing the amount of preserves. As cats get older, it is increasingly important to feed both canned as possible, as there is a link between dry food and kidney disease. Even with water supplies, cats do not drink enough to compensate for the dehydration effect of dry foods, and this in turn can damage the kidneys.
