My older sister thinks it can be for our puppy to eat cat food?
My older sister (about 30 years) said that our vet said cat food that is the same just smaller. Its not cheap. Shes always saying just let her eat the cat food. Help to prove me> wrong sister?
Your veterinarian is an IDIOT Cat food is NOT the same as dog food! Just look at the ingredients information nutrition. Cat food is too high in fats and other nutrients that dogs protiens is NOT required .. can be very hard on a dog's kidneys and liver to process nutrients extra .. extra fat can cause pancreatis. My cousin dog was fed a diet of cat food and table scraps, she needed surgury to remove large stones in the bladder before it was even 3 years old. When the vet asked about the diet .. told my aunt that cat food is the worst that can feed a dog .. He made no mention of table scraps! Dogs need dog food … cat food is for cats, not dogs. If it were the same, would be packaged and labeled it as "pet food" .. wouldnt be sold separately. I advice to find a new veterinarian.
