Is there any information about recalls of pet food?

My wife says the Whiskas Temptations Treats have been recalled. Now do not misunderstand me, I did check the website of the company, are not remember as on products that are produced by there company. Is there some information out there related to dry cat food recalled and / or sweets, other Hills Science Diet brand? Please note that this question only is in regaurds to dry cat food due to the fact that Sundance our cat only eats dry food mostly.

Hello there … regrettably yes … More information on the retreat. And that information is that food is increasingly being added Still, yesterday added another 30 brands. Who know when this is going to stop? Please stop feeding your kitten anuthing had wanted the wheat gluten in it. You are risking your life to do cats. Every day more and more food added to the list … so if you find that's your morning meal, but it is too late for your kitty? Do not take chances. Please! It's time for pet owners to wake up and take responsibility for what they feed their animals and stop relying on what the big money hungry corporations say. Research for yourself, learn, read the ingredients and make an informed decision on health and safety of your beloved pet. With the withdrawal of gluten Wheat is the main suspect in cat food great that everyone is trying to avoid, and should be avoided. There must be avoided at all times. It is nothing more than a source of protein cheap used as binder for the pet food companies. corn should be avoided as well. It is a great filling is worthless. Corn as an ingredient in cat food is a joke. Have you ever seen a cat chewing on an ear of corn in a field? No, no. Cats, despite thousands of years of domestication, strictly carnivorous. True and honest meat eaters and that is what they need most. Protein from meat! As you search for your new pet food, keep in mind that there are three categories Pet food: – "Grocery store" foods – (Generic Brands and cheap name brands) Food found in supermarkets and retail consumer markets are less quality, less digestible, inexpensive ingredients and therefore a cheaper alternative. While easy on the pocket, "grocery store" Foods that usually do not provide your cat with the healthiest, most dense ingredients nutricionales.-Premium foods – (Iams / Eukanuba, Purina One, Hills Science Diet, Nutro Foods and such) often found in grocery stores, pet stores and veterinarian offices that contain higher-grade ingredients, but there are many elements of the store grocery "food, such as artificial colors, artificial flavors, chemical preservatives, and" filler "ingredients such as corn and products wheat, and even animal digest. Yuck! Premium foods are usually more expensive than "grocery store" foods because their ingredients are often of higher quality, thus more beneficial and digestible. But do not be fooled, some of those same calls premium brands are sometimes worse than food supermarket, but they charge prices like they are better. They will not, "are healthy foods – (Wellness, Eagle Pack, Drs Foster and Smith) The most recent market entry of pet food – provide pets with the highest quality, healthy, nutritious ingredients. They are usually available for purchase online or directly from the manufacturer. Some better retailers are starting to wear now. Complete Petmart takes a few healthy products branded food. Healthy foods in the class – contain nutrient-rich ingredients. Formulated to provide optimum health benefits for pets, these foods often use real meat as the main source of protein, carbohydrate-rich whole grains like brown rice and barley and whole, fresh fruits and vegetables. They should not contain artificial preservatives, flavors or colors. They will almost always be fortified with additional vitamins and minerals, and use the best natural sources fatty acids to help build healthy skin and coat beautiful. Because healthy foods use high quality ingredients, you should expect to pay a little more than for other types of pet food. Remember, though, with healthy foods that can feed less since healthy foods are richer in nutrients other types of food that often meet or the cost of food that fills them with cheap food nutritional no fillers. With all that information in account when choosing a new study cat food ingredients. All ingredients on pet food labels are listed by weight. Meaning ingredients that are first in the list, there is more to this country. The first ingredients listed should be whole meat ingredients, protein sources like chicken or turkey. Not only the word "meat"! Who the hell knows what that is? The word chicken food is acceptable but should be a secondary ingredient, not first place. The food is the meat dehydrated and ground into a powder. The ingredients also should not include any by-products or animal digest whatsoever. Those are disgusting left over animal parts that are scraped off the floors dirty packing plant. Just go in the trash but they put in pet food instead. EW! Also make sure there are no artificial colors or flavors. And make sure there is no BHA and BHT used preservatives. These preservatives have been shown to cause cancer in dogs and cats. Bad Bad things and that in almost every cat treat on the market. : (So, in summery of the ingredients … if you see the words by-products, Animal Digest, the word "meat" only, corn, corn gluten, wheat gluten, or BHA or BHT … stop reading, put down that bag and move to the next. Note that switching to a healthy, holistic or organic foods, you'll pay for what you get. Good foods are not cheap. They are expensive and will cost on a per bag, much more. Like steak costs more hot dogs. But again, you feed better food and better health on all of your pet. This in turn leads to less vet visits for illness which is more important now and later in life in their Geriatric years. Also use less of this food on a per animal basis because a smaller amount of food contains what your cat needs. Overall healthy foods are worthwhile, if only for peace of mind that the ingredients are safer. What are some good food that you recommend? I can feed my cats Drs. Foster & Smith Adult Lite Holistic dry cat food with a dry mixture of welfare. I also think Merrick canned. Doctors I purchase. Foster and Smith online and have it automatically delivered to my door for me never ends and never go for it. It is one of the best foods market and has no fillers in it. It is also very reasonably priced compared to other global food. And when you are feeding as many cats as I, the price is as important as the ingredients. If you can afford, you can not feed it. So buy the highest quality you can feel good and you is doing the best deal possible for your pet. If you want to buy in a store, Complete Petmart is a good store and carries a mixture a few natural, organic and holistic. Also check with your local grocery stores. Old Mother Hubbard Wellness Brand is a great whole food I feed. As is Eagle Pack Dry Cat Food. Merrick also retains a great source of nutrition and who would get a dry line this summer. I recommend people take the time to investigate for themselves, but information If I gave off to a good start. Good luck choosing a new food for your cats! ******** IMPORTANT ******* Do not forget to change your pets food slowly over a period of 10 to 14 days, if possible. Mixture of 25% to 75% new age. So … 75% 50/50 25% new and old. And finally change 100% new. Take it easy not to upset their digestive system. Side note … Please do not feed Iams / Eukanuba. It's ALL fillers, byproducts, animal digest and CRAP. Read the ingredients! There is nothing good for your cat in that food. Not to mention that the behavior of the most appalling animal testing you have ever seen. http://www.iamscruelty.com to see the terror they create.
