Cat food question? change halo …?
I have two cats that i feed purina one healthy weight. ran outta food so instead of buying the same things that I have decided to upgrade to the brand halo. I know its supposed to gradually switch to change the food, but I did not. So the question is Purina food and eating turkey halo I have is wild salmon. My cats are just picking on him the last two days and really not eating as normally do. Could it be that they do not like the taste and I should have a turkey-flavored one, or is it just because I changed their food, suddenly, and have to get used the new? Could you buy a small bag of old food and changing them work better? "
It could be that just do not like the taste of salmon wild and so will pick up on it. slow during the switch is not really to get them used to new tastes, but to get your system to adjust to the new food for do not get upset stomach. Personally I would not use halo. I do not think there is enough meat. because the meat is in their whole form when the water dried and removed in the placement falls a good part of the list of ingredients.
