I recently switched vets and is recommended to change my cat "wet" foods to shed a few pounds. Any ideas?
It 8 years and 19 pounds. We have tried to change it for weight control dry food. We played with him every day to keep active, but does not always compensate. It has always been a big cat, but I know this is too big.
Check the mark! My vet recognizes that most food are mainly wet ash and water – similar to fast food. He called Macdonalds for cats! I found that Hills Science Plan worked better, but it did work more expensive than most cat food. Now they have a mix of hills Lite and Whiskas wet food. They used to have a can each day one (as they say in the can) 1 can now have four cats for breakfast and dry food ad lib. One is still overweight (she sleeps all day and does not like to go out much) but the rest are perfect! Hope this helps!
