Why dry? Applaws quality is very good cat food, but wet / canned food is much healthier for cats and dry. The reason is, in the wild, cats normally get most of their water content directly of their prey and drink very little. Domestic cats are no different, and the fact that they are designed to take water with your meal, which has a very low thirst drive. Cats often just do not drink enough. This leads to urinary tract infections and crystals. The little bit of dry food is better for teeth is a myth and has not been tested in the least (cats barely chew their dry food and, indeed, does a pretzel clean / your / teeth? Cats should have their teeth brushed with brushes teeth and cat toothpaste at least one cat twice a week and see the vet for dental cleanings when necessary / regardless / of what were fed).
